MANDARINA AGGHIACCIATI
(FROZEN TANGERINE)
If you want to amaze your guests after an elegant and refined meal, do like me, in the citrus season, serve the frozen tangerines.
The preparation is very simple: only three ingredients and very few moves are enough.
This pudding without milk, fresh and digestive will be truly effective.
Take the mandarins, possibly untreated, and, after cleaning the peel, cut the upper part, so as to cut out the cap.
Very carefully, remove the wedges and set aside the empty skins of the tangerines.
Strain the tangerines wedges and the caps of the removed peels.
Pour the liquid obtained in a saucepan, add the sugar and melt the starch with a whisk.
Put on the low heat and, stirring constantly, leave on the fire, until the liquid thickens.
Once it get cold, fill the tangerines peels with the syrup and put them in the freezer, until the syrup gets solid.
Take out from the freezer half hour before serving.
INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PERSONS
- 10 tangerines
- 50 gr. corn starch
- 100 gr. caster sugar
